Interlink Capital Strategies, established in 1994, is a Washington, DC - based consulting firm specializing in emerging market finance and business development. Our managers are experts in international project financing, trade financing, raising private equity, business development and marketing with a Washington insider’s expertise on how to access government programs and political support for international business transactions. We have successfully arranged billions of dollars of financing and used government advocacy and strategic industry relations to structure transactions world wide. Our staff speaks Albanian, Cantonese, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

The company was originally founded to focus on business between the U.S. and Asia. It was successful at establishing a number of joint ventures in China, Thailand, and Indonesia. After the financial crisis of 1997 in Asia, the company expanded into domestic private equity by investing Asian funds in U.S. technology companies. Interlink is now invested directly and indirectly in approximately 40 U.S. companies through a publicly-traded Small Business Investment Company, More America Capital Corporation (NASDAQ symbol: MACC ) in which it holds an equity stake.

Interlink Solutions was set up in 2003 to provide sales, marketing and business development support to U.S. companies seeking to expand overseas, as well as foreign companies seeking to penetrate the U.S. market. In 2004, Summit Ventures International, which specializes in U.S. government advocacy and whose principals include Lew Cramer, the former Director General of the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service, and former Senator Jake Garn, became affiliated with Interlink.
